soooo okayyyy its been a crazy 2 weeks. lots have happened. and i've not blogged for quite awhile yeah? Sooo anyways, let's talk about my latest adventure! I did a suicide climb up a 45 degree inclined hill near to Neuschwanstein yesterday! In the morning, i reached CDC at 8am, and lucky for me, no one was even there yet. Du Qiang the China guy from class, came down at 8.05am. And we both thought, "what the fuck?! they left without us???!!!" so we decided to just stick around a little longer, and then Maria came down, and we asked, "you here for the trip too?!" haha so we realised we weren't late. Soooo we took the tram down to the Hauptbahnhof, and the funny thing is, Florian, our guide doesn't pay for the tram tickets! so if we do get caught.....like EUR $40 fine lah. so anyways, we got to the main train station in munich, and the train ride took approx 2 hours. and we hopped on another bus to Neuschwanstein from Füssen train station. When we arrived, Florian got out and bought the tickets. One of the girls were pissed, cause she complained that Florian bought the english guided tour, when she only understood Deutsch. sooo complain complain, she went back to get it changed. While the Spanish clique were having their early lunch, the rest of us decided to walk up to Neuschwanstein, and wa lan must hike up about 2km up the hill. By the time i reached up there, i was panting like a dog, and the Ang Moh people go up like normal strolling liddat sia. hahaha. Du Qiang and I were exhausted.
So next, the Schloß was okay. it wasn't anything special. From far, the Schloß looks really beautiful, however when you got closer, its really dirty. And we couldn't enter most of the rooms coz it was protected. and the funny thing is that König Ludwig II only resided in Neuschwanstein for a 170 days. Before the Municipal government in Munich deemed that he was crazy and he wasn't fit to rule Bayern.
And after the tour, Florian, Du Qiang, I and the spanish clique had the novel idea of climbing up a treacherous slippery slope to a vantage point where we could take nice pictures of the scenery. The slope was a complete sheet of ice, so we have to carefully step on the stones that will give our shoes friction, or on the soft snow. Everyone was sliding down the slope at one point. so halfway up the climb i decided to give it up, as my shoes were not meant for climbing on ice. so i slid on my ass down like on skis, but on my arse down the slope for a good half kilometer, but my ass got too wet, so i decided to scale down the treacherous forrest down to the main road below. at the same time i scratched my back against the branches, and now i have abrasion on my back blehhh....
Oh and goodbye polya! had such a fun time with youuuu....too bad u had to go. :(
